 About Afiya Shani WilliamsÂ
Afiya Shani aka “Fi” moves through the world as a multi-talented impact producer, entrepreneur, educator, and wildflower. With over 20 years of experience in implementing mission driven projects that center art, justice, joy, and wellbeing, Afiya collaborates with organizations and changemakers to achieve impact objectives and bring their programs, events, and community building goals to life. - Over the past two decades, Fi has developed a dynamic ability to listen with empathy, understand complex social change challenges, simplify big concepts and then offer thoughtful, creative solutions that help move projects, programs, or productions from vision to fruition.
- She has the rare ability to bring social analysis, creative perspective, and logistical, administrative skills to each project which helps fuse the many components to create a meaningful and memorable experience.Â
- Afiya is also the Founder and CEO of WildFiya, a wellbeing and lifestyle company that curates playful and restorative spaces of refuge for Black and Brown women to foster and embody healthy lives of passion and purpose.
- As the lead program designer and facilitator, she combines a background in production with her Masters in Education Leadership to curate experiences that are unique, interactive, informative, and inspiring.
