 About Christina Liciaga

  • Christina Liciaga is an award-winning global leader, board director and venture strategist operating at the intersection of capital, systems change and inclusive wealth creation.
  • Over 20+ years and across five continents, she has built and scaled businesses, shaped multi-billion-dollar financial products and propositions, and advised leaders, boards and founders navigating complex transformation. Her expertise is in designing institutional-grade architectures that enable long-term resilience and growth and helping leaders and teams through their transformation.


  • With a clear purpose of unlocking systems of wealth and power for those historically underserved and underestimated, she is now using all her knowledge across institutional finance, venture ecosystems and governance leadership to help individuals, founders and organisations design the systems that convert ambition into enduring financial and societal impact.


  • Christina’s career is anchored by more than sixteen years of senior leadership at HSBC, where she held successive C-suite mandates across the UK, Europe, Latin America and Asia.

  • As Global Head of Wealth Propositions, she architected the creation of Jade by HSBC Premier, securing $25 million in investment to design, build and launch the flagship high-net-worth offering across seven markets. The strategy architected a $50 billion AUM global wealth franchise and redefined how the institution served affluent clients globally.



  • As European Head of Customer & Products, Christina held full P&L accountability for a $420 million revenue portfolio and oversaw a ÂŁ21 billion deposit franchise, delivering sustained growth including a 180% increase in deposits and a doubling of revenue. She also led the roll-out of digital platforms serving which grew from zero to more than one million customers globally.
  • Earlier, as Head of Customer Service, she transformed customer strategy across banking, insurance and wealth businesses serving more than 12 million clients across three brands, leading a 600-person organisation across ten UK sites.
