 About Dana Akins-Adeyemi
Dana “DeltaDana” Akins-Adeyemi is a design and innovation strategist, educator, and entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience spanning engineering, corporate innovation, and higher education. Trained as a mechanical engineer, she has worked with Fortune 500 organizations and taught at the university level, helping leaders and students rethink how systems shape outcomes.
Known for bridging technical strategy with human-centered insight, Dana specializes in reframing imposter syndrome as a systemic phenomenon rather than a personal flaw. Her work empowers high-achieving women — particularly Black women navigating complex professional environments — to move from self-doubt to strategic clarity.
Through her speaking, workshops, and consulting, she equips audiences to renew their thinking, redesign their environments, and reclaim their authority. Her approach blends systems strategy, design thinking, and lived experience to help individuals and organizations operate from power instead of pressure.
Dana’s mission is to create transformational spaces where women can think expansively, build sustainably, and lead authentically — without the burden of constant proving.
When she’s not teaching or speaking, she is developing frameworks and tools that help professionals redesign both internal narratives and external systems for lasting impact.
