 About Kimberly Heckstall
Kimberly L. Heckstall, DM, is an accomplished organizational leader and higher education professional with over 15 years of experience advancing leadership development across academic, corporate, and government sectors
As a Business Management Instructor for 7 years at North Carolina A&T State University in the Willie A. Deese College of Business and Economics, for the last 2 years she has also served as a Leadership Development Coach in the Toyota Leadership Development Program where she creates learning content and assists in mentoring more than 50 students annually delivering high-impact training in emotional intelligence, feedback, and inclusive leadership.
Dr. Heckstall previously served as Dissertation Lead Chair for the Doctor of Business Administration program at California Intercontinental University, where she supervised doctoral research, strengthened faculty coaching practices, and implemented process improvements to elevate academic quality standards.
Her leadership experience also spans human resources and municipal government, having directed multi-site HR and training operations managing cross-departmental onboarding initiatives within New York City government agencies.
In addition to her academic and corporate leadership, Dr. Heckstall is the Founder and Financial Fiduciary Manager of Grateful Hearts for Veterans, LLC, where she partners with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to provide financial oversight and advocacy services to veterans and their beneficiaries
