 About Ruth Chigbo
Miss Ruth Chigbo is an energy and sustainability professional, geoscientist, and community leader working at the intersection of climate education, youth leadership, and systems innovation across Europe and Africa.
She is the Founder of ClimaLearnation, a climate-tech education initiative that designs gamified and accessible learning experiences to equip young people with practical knowledge about climate science, sustainability, and the energy transition. Through workshops, summits, and community programs, her work has empowered hundreds of young people to engage with climate solutions and leadership.
Ruth is also the Founder of the 100K Black Women Saved by 2030 initiative, a women’s health advocacy movement focused on promoting breast cancer awareness, early detection, and health education within underserved communities across Africa and the diaspora. Through strategic partnerships and community outreach, the initiative works to improve health literacy and preventive care for women.
She has contributed to international youth and sustainability programs across Europe through Erasmus+ initiatives and global energy networks. As an Energy Ambassador with the Switch Energy Alliance in Europe, she advocates for energy literacy and youth participation in the global energy transition.
Recognized for her work in leadership, science communication, and innovation, Ruth has received several international recognitions and has spoken at conferences and global forums on energy transition, youth leadership, and sustainable development.
