 About Sumur Williams
Sumur Williams is the founder of The Unpolished Brain, an ADHD coaching and consulting practice built for late-diagnosed professionals who are ready to stop surviving and start building systems that actually work for their brains.
As a late-diagnosed Black woman herself, Sumur knows firsthand what it costs to spend years functioning at a high level on the outside while barely holding it together on the inside. Her diagnosis did not come with a ceremony. Her therapist blurted it out in the middle of a session, prescribed a non-stimulant, and kept it moving. What came next was grief, clarity, and eventually a calling.
Today Sumur works at the intersection of ADHD coaching, executive function design, and AI strategy. She helps professionals build personalized scaffolding systems that reduce decision fatigue, support emotional regulation, and create structure that holds even when motivation disappears. Her work is practical, shame-free, and grounded in lived experience.
Sumur also consults with organizations on neurodivergent-inclusive workplace design, helping leaders understand that the systems penalizing their highest-potential employees are not performance problems. They are design problems.
Her masterclass, From Invisible to Designed: ADHD, Late Diagnosis and What Actually Helps, brings together research, real talk, and practical tools for individuals and organizations ready to move from awareness to action.
She is based in South Carolina and serves clients nationally. Connect with Sumur at theunpolishedbrain.com or on Instagram and LinkedIn at @theunpolishedbrain.
