 About Tai Barroso
Tai Barroso is a Brazilian facilitator, experience designer, and founder of Awelle, a consultancy dedicated to radical collaboration, collective intelligence, and participatory transformation.
With over 15 years of experience working across South America, Europe, and West Africa, Tai designs and facilitates processes that help organizations navigate complexity, align people, and turn strategy into lived experience.
Her work sits at the intersection of facilitation, systems thinking, cultural repertoire, and social impact. Tai has collaborated with international foundations, civil society organizations, governments, and multinational companies, supporting leadership teams, communities, and networks to think better together — especially in contexts shaped by diversity, uncertainty, and power asymmetries.
Tai’s approach is deeply influenced by the Global South. She draws inspiration from Afro-diasporic knowledge, ancestral practices, and lived experiences across territories — from Brazilian biomes to Nigerian cities — weaving cultural sensitivity, imagination, and rigor into every journey she designs. For her, facilitation is not neutral: it is a political, creative, and relational act.
Beyond client work, Tai is a speaker, trainer, and coach to facilitators and leaders seeking to develop more authentic, bold, and human-centered ways of working. She is currently developing her first book and expanding her international training programs, while continuing to advocate for collaboration as a practice of care, courage, and collective future-making.
