It could have all ended for her in 2001. As the last woman standing in a managerial role, she faced constant underestimation and ridicule. Eventually, her colleagues voted her out completely.
Courage is what propelled Wendy Bailey after the biggest blow of her corporate career. Imagine waking up to discover you’d been voted off the executive team of a Fortune 500 company. Where would you go from there?
Instead of letting it define her, she used that rejection as a catalyst to build a highly respected business coaching empire. Now, she impacts clients across multiple countries.
She could have taken this blow as a sign she didn’t belong at the top. Instead, she saw it as a call to action - a push to use her gifts and grit elsewhere.
In discovering her knack for bringing out the best in people, Wendy found her true calling as a business coach. Dubbed the “income accelerator”, she now helps entrepreneurs chart a course towards bigger profits, with clients across the US, UK, and Italy.
From group coaching programmes to her Beyond Business Limits community, Wendy is dedicated to guiding ambitious professionals in mastering marketing, scaling, and profitability. She’s also the bestselling author of I Charge for That: Mastering the Mindset for Sales Success and The Ultimate Guide to Profitable Coaching Conversations.

Her story reminds us: when one door slams shut, it could be the nudge you need to open an even bigger one.
